DESCRIPTION:\nThe program will walk through hypotheticals involving the death of a debtor and will analyze who's entitled to payment from the assets and income of the deceased.  The program will not only lay out the payment distribution scheme upon the death of a debtor, it will also cover pre-death strategies that can alter who gets paid and from what assets/income.\n \nAttendees will be better able to answer their client's questions when asked “do I have to pay my spouse’s credit card debts if he predeceases me?", “will there be anything left for my children if I die with debt?", or "can I get paid from my debtor's life insurance policy if she dies?"  Attendees will gain a more 3-dimensional understanding of the issues they regularly encounter in their family law, probate/estate planning, and creditor/debtor practices. \n
